No one and everyone, John “Doe” Dorado started writing his first raps when he was 11 years old, coincidentally the same year he started playing saxophone. Two years later he taught himself how to play a 5 piece drum-set and started a band with two close friends. They enjoyed playing covers from bands like Nirvana, Blink-182 and Green Day. In those times, you either liked Rock or you liked Hip-Hop, but John defied those lines and did not let a genre define the music he liked or the friends he had. He continued to pursue his musical education after auditioning and getting accepted to Frank Sinatra School of the Arts. There he met Gamb., where they both received Classical and Jazz training and played in multiple bands together. In college, John taught himself how to use Logic 9 and started a music production club as a way to promote collaboration amongst his peers. After graduating with a Music Performance Liberal Arts degree, he moved in with his ol' pal James and they began to produce together. The rest was history.
Born and raised on the gritty streets of the South Bronx, James “Gamb” Gamble has always had a love affair with music from a very young age. While being raised in a religious household, he focused on the music to get through the sometimes long and arduous church services. He was introduced to musical instruments at age 11, when he took on playing the saxophone in his tiny middle school concert band. He continued to explore music, and was introduced to the worlds of Classical, Jazz, Funk and Soul. After his parents persuaded him to pursue a career path to fall back on, he chose paralegal studies, but shortly realized that music was the only way he wanted to be successful. Using the vast information he learned in music theory, and relying on influences from artists & producers like Kendrick Lamar, Pharell, and Erykah Badu, he switched his focus to music production, and has been cranking out hits ever since.
